Lily Zarrella

Lily Zarrella is Senior Director of Platform & Operations at Innospark Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm investing in AI-driven companies. She works across the firm’s portfolio to support startup founders as they build and scale their companies, while overseeing core operations of the firm’s investment and organizational strategy.

Previously, Lily served as Deputy Chief of Staff to Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker and Lieutenant Governor Karyn Polito from 2019 to 2022. She also worked in the Governor’s office at the beginning of the Baker administration, from 2015 – 2016. Lily has held key leadership roles in statewide campaigns in Massachusetts. She led the statewide field operation for Charlie Baker’s successful 2014 gubernatorial campaign and later served as Deputy Campaign Manager for the 2018 reelection campaign. She began her career in politics as a field organizer in the Boston mayoral race in 2013, launching her work in grassroots voter engagement and organizing.

Between government roles, Lily worked at Solamere Capital, a Boston-based private equity firm, where she worked on network development and firmwide events including Mitt Romney’s annual E2 Summit.

She graduated from Boston University with a B.A. in Political Science.
