Deysi Gutierrez

Deysi Gutierrez is a community organizer at Partners in Democracy, where she advocates for a more accessible and equitable democratic process. Born in El Salvador and raised in Boston from the age of seven, Deysi has long served the East Boston immigrant community and hopes to expand her work to support young people across Boston and Greater Boston. She holds a B.A. in Communication from UMass Boston and previously led the East Boston Mutual Aid Network, shaping her commitment to reciprocity and collective care. A graduate of the Mayor’s Office for Immigrant Advancement’s Immigrants Lead Boston program and a dedicated mother, Deysi brings creativity, compassion, and lived experience to her work. She loves connecting with community, pop-culture, writing, and finding joy in everyday moments.
